Do you adore or dread going to bed? Odd as it may seem, bedtime brings me joy. After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I draw back the covers, fluff the pillows, and slip inside my cocoon feeling elated. I make note of this sensation because I figure it will evaporate should I wake up in the middle of the night.
I read a book for a while, peruse articles from a little magazine I love, Family Life, and then something from the Bible. I’m reading through the Psalms right now.
Many people dread going to bed because stormy waters lay ahead, also known as insomnia, something I struggled with in the past. I became so exhausted from lack of sleep I even spent a night in the sleep disorder clinic, only to find I don’t have sleep apnea. There’s nothing worse than tossing and turning, unable to switch off your brain. If you are like me and struggle to fall asleep, a good night’s sleep is all we ask for!
We all deal with insomnia in different ways don’t we? Some people turn to alternative medicines as a way of unwinding. Strains of cannabis like death bubba are supposed to reduce anxiety, which, if you’re worried could be one of the reasons you’re not getting enough sleep. It’s all about finding what works for you after all. I also did a bit more research of my own and came across companies such as canna trading co, who could make it a lot easier for us insomniacs to finally get the sleep we deserve. It is definitely worth checking out, as I’m sure you don’t want to suffer from insomnia any longer. One routine that’s helped decelerate my racing thoughts is to pray and ponder about everything that’s bothering me before I turn off the light. At least I try. Sometimes, hours later, worries surface. For instance: I forgot to call someone (again) or pay a bill. Why can I only remember certain must-dos in the middle of the night?
How about you? Are you one of those remarkable people who can simply turn off the light, lay their head on a pillow, and fall asleep? Or do you wrestle with sleeplessness? Any tips to share?

Most nights I fall right to sleep with no problem. When I do have trouble falling asleep, I take in several deep breaths and slowly let them out. I guess it gets my mind at ease and I fall asleep. I love the pillow and thanks for the chance to win. Have a blessed day.
Sleep does not come easy to me most nights, however I find if I read before I go to bed it helps. I let the words on the pages take me to places I wish I cold be and when there are scriptures it helps as well. The Amish life has helped me in son any ways to become the relaxed calm person I am.
Absolutely, Cherese, reading Amish fiction relaxes me, as does reading scripture! I have learned much from the Amish too. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
You are a lucky lady, Debbie! I’ll try your breathing routine tonight, if needed. Thanks for sharing it and for entering the giveaway!
Kate
I don’t always sleep well, either, but I do like diffusing lavender oil at bedtime.
I’ve heard about lavender oil at bedtime, Amy! Does it really make you feel drowsy and bring on sleep? Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
i like this and i would love to win it
I’d love to have you win, Wanda! Thanks for entering the giveaway!
Kate
There are times I have a problem going right to sleep, so I try to relax and ask God to please take my worries off my shoulders and He takes care of everything.
I would love to win this pillow, it is awesome
He is the only one strong enough to bear our worries and problems, Lois! I’m glad He takes care of everything for you. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Before menopause I was one of those people that feel asleep as soon as my head hit the people….those were the good ole days!
The pillow is beautiful!
Blessings,
Lorraine
Ah, the good old days, Lorraine! I’m glad you like the pillow. Wishing you extra good luck!
Kate
Sleep is not my friend. I can be so tired go to bed and my eyes pop wide open. When I lay down then all these things pop into my head I need to be doing. So I get up and read. Doctor said I think to much! Hmmm…
Blessings
Diana
I can relate, Diana, as I also think too much! That’s why I try to ponder and pray things through before I turn off the light. I keep paper and pencil by the bed just in case I get an idea … First thing in the morning is my best writing time, so I like to wake up refreshed. Well, who doesn’t? Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I don’t sleep well. I go to bed and read. I get really sleepy. I close my eyes maybe an hour or two later i’m wide awake. Then i read.
Waking up two hours later, what feels like a nap, and being wide-awake is no fun, Susan! I’ve been there more than a few times. Sounds as if you get a lot of reading in. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I find making sure I stop caffeine a few hours before bed helpful for a good night’s sleep! Also lavender scented candles help my unwind and get into that sleep place, as well as bringing my cares and concerns to my Father, usually if I am awake there is unfinished business that only He can take care of!
Your bedtime ritual sounds very wise, Tracie! I stop coffee right after lunch. Some people get away with it, but how I don’t know. Your lavender scented candles sound lovely as well as bringing your problems to our Heavenly Father. His ears are always open to our concerns.
Kate
There are some times when I toss, but because of working 3 jobs (1 FT and 2 PT) I’m usually exhausted. I love laying on my pillows though.
Even more, I love reading. I read everyday at lunch time.
A terrific pastime at lunch, Myrtle! My goodness, three jobs would be exhausting. Glad you love laying your head on your pillow the way I do. My favorite pillow. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Unfortunately I haven’t anything, I did a sleep study to find out it won’t shut off, I even have to take medication to help get a few hours so body can rest. I will be watching and reading to see if there might be a cure.
I’m sorry to hear you’re suffering from insomnia, Melissa! nothing goes right when you’re tired all the time and yet can’t fall and stay asleep. Most sleep medications I’ve tried, even Benadryl, wakes me up. Not fair! Some people need medication to get those few hours of rest. Thanks for writing and good luck in the giveaway! Also, good luck in your quest for sleep.
Kate
I toss and turn all night long, I even take Benydryl to help. Since I can’t take a sleeping pill. I read to get myself sleepy, it helps. Beautiful pillow. I suppose that don’t drink anything with caffene would help or just work yourself til you drop. I have done both, doen’t help me.
When I went to the sleep disorder clinic, the doctor, who happened to be the head of the clinic, said I was doing everything right, including not drinking caffeine after noon, etc. Sometimes being exhausted doesn’t bring about sleep. Being tired is different than being sleepy. If Benadryl would help me, I’d take it, but it wakes me up, weird as that might sound. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
I some times sleep easy then other times it’s not so easy . I read a book on my kindle for a while and that really helps a lot . I love to read .
Thanks for writing, Mary! Interesting about your Kindle. Is the screen lit? I saw on TV and also googled that my iPad’s bright light would make it harder for me to sleep. Same for being on the computer one hour before bedtime. Bummer! So I turned of the Wifi early (need the deterrent) and stick to paper books. I’ve carried some pretty hefty books on airplanes … Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I have a terrible time sleeping. My brain just doesnt like to shut off, its a horrible problem. The doctor tried anxiety meds but I still didnt sleep. If I stay reading on the couch I will eventually fall asleep and get more than laying down.
You have my sympathy, Carol! My brain would love to do cartwheels all night. I simply can’t just shut it off, but must go through my ritual every night, no matter how tired I might think I am. Reading really does switch my brain into a different mode. Also, I journal every morning and complain about all my problems to myself. Sometimes great inspiration arises from the pages for my writing, so it’s helpful in every way. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway. Good luck!
Kate
I have restless leg syndrome so I sometimes have a hard time falling asleep. My biggest problem is staying asleep. I can sleep for 3-4 hours then “ding” I’m awake. Oh and pillow is beautiful
I can relate with the restless leg syndrome, Cindy! the doctor at the sleep disorder clinic told me to try taking a small dose of iron. Why had no other doctor told me? it’s hard to find iron that doesn’t bother your stomach indigestion, but I finally found one I’d recommend if you wish. I hate that “ding” after 3 to 4 hours! Part of our circadian rhythm and one reason babies wake up often even one and not hungry. Can you tell I’ve read a few books about insomnia? Thanks for writing. Good luck in the giveaway … and your sleep!
Kate
That is a beautiful pillow! I learned a relaxation exercise, years ago when depression and anxiety were really bothering me. I lay in bed, take a breath in and start at my toes and think about relaxing my toes, then, I breathe out. I use this technique going all the way up my body, toes, ankles, calves, knees, hips and so on. Sometimes, I fall asleep before I get to my knees. 🙂 The deep breathing really helps me.
Your relaxation technique sounds wonderful, Melissa! I wonder if I have the patience to do it … but if I’m just lying there doing nothing in the middle of the night why not give it a try? I will. Thanks for sharing your tip and for entering the giveaway! Good luck!
Kate
I have a lavender sleep spray that I use and then read a book until I feel ready to fall asleep. I sleep really good for a few hours and when I start tossing and turning I get up and go to the living and either read or watch TV until I can fall back asleep on the couch.
Sounds as if you can fall asleep just fine, Jean! But no fun waking up again a few hours later only to toss and turn. I’m glad you find relief on the couch. I hope you discover a way to make it through the night in your own bed. But sleep is elusive, isn’t it? Thanks for entering the giveaway!
Kate
I have a bedtime ritual beginning about one hour before my head hits the pillow.
Turn down all lights in living room. Turn off TV and do not look at IPad or Laptop computer. Take a hot shower, spray lavender on my pillow, drink chamomile tea, and read. I do write my next day “to do list”, and place it on my organizer before I begin the bedtime ritual to clear my thoughts and brain for relaxation. Hubby and I read together on the love seat until we both begin to nod off. Works like a charm. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I get a drink of water and then put on my eye mask if necessary before returning to bed. Thank you for your awesome writing and the beautiful pillow.
Thank you for your awesome letter, Priscilla! You and I share some of the same nighttime routines: turn off TV and iPad one hour before bedtime. I recommend turning off Wi-Fi too. Several doctors have mentioned this and I’ve read articles about the bad effects of Wi-Fi on sleep. I have never tried lavender, but several people have mentioned it … I can see you and your dear husband sitting together on the love seat reading and both beginning to nod off. God placed you two together. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Keep the nightwear, sheets, blankets, etc light so you can cool down or warm up as needed. Don’t turn the bathroom light on when you use it in the middle of the night. The light will wake you up more.
Good advice, Kate! I like your ideas about nightwear, sheets and blankets. I have a tiny pushbutton nightlight by our bed should I need to get up in the middle of the night. Definitely avoid bright lights as they tell the body and brain to wake up. Thanks for sharing your sage words and for entering the giveaway!
Kate
I don’t have a problem falling asleep…..sometimes a problem staying asleep. Too many nights of getting up and what I feel like is, wasting time. 🙁
I’m glad to hear you don’t have a problem falling asleep, as many do. But waking up in the middle of the night does seem like a waste of time, Loretta! I used to pray during those hours, but I found my brain got even busier. Now I pray and ask myself if I’m worried before I turn off the lights and try to relax if (when) I wake up at 2:30. Not always an easy feat. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Sleep can be so elusive when needed but comes quickly when getting to be time to get up. You appear to be doing the right things to calm your mind before bed. Try drinking milk before bed it has a natural sleep provoking effect. The pillow is beautiful and your novels are wonderful.
Thank you for your generous letter, Stephen! I’m not allergic to milk, but my stomach complains when I drink it. I appreciate your advice as I’m always on the lookout for natural remedies. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Sleep isn’t easy for me.The minute I lay my head down my brain goes on full alert.I think about everything, from what I didn’t do to what I want to do,unpaid bills, health issues to just anything and everything.I have had people tell me give it to God and go to sleep.I try but my brain just won’t shut off.I try to just talk to God and stay focused on prayer.
You have my sympathy, Jackie! Isn’t it amazing how our brains continue to work all night, even when we’re asleep? I make a point of examining my worries and praying about them before I turn off the light. Plus journaling about them first thing in the morning which leads me into a good writing session. It seems the harder we tried to sleep the more it eludes us. Frustrating. Thanks for writing and good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
When I just cannot get to sleep I quote scripture by the alphabet or sometimes I pray. I don’t even get done till I am off to La La land. It works wonderfully ! I have even tried to think of hymns & say the Title by alphabet.
Sounds like a perfect and productive technique, Sharon! Excellent. Few people know the Bible that well and nothing beats a good night’s sleep, Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
Hi, I do most of my thinking and planning when I am trying to fall asleep, unfortunately. I really try not to, but the mind will not turn off. I, also, love to read in bed!!
Aren’t our minds amazing, Antoinette? Too bad we can’t remember everything during the daylight hours.
I keep paper and pen by the bed. After I read, I try to get my thinking, retting, and planning out of the way before I attempt sleep. Even then, as I doze off sometimes other thoughts come to mind, which I jot down if able. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Getting to sleep is usually not a problem. As many others have said, staying asleep is the problem. I am usually up at least once or twice a night – sometimes more. The nights I can’t sleep is usually because I can’t shut my mind off. 🙂 Anything and everything is going through my head. Those nights it’s better just to get back up for awhile. Prayer often helps with those times.
The pillow is gorgeous.
Thanks for writing, Pat! The good news is you can initially get to sleep (many can’t) but as with others staying asleep is the culprit. I have read several books on insomnia that say you should just get up, but I found if I did that I did not fall back asleep. Even praying alone before I turn off the light, sometimes ignites thoughts in my brain as I worry about sick people, etc. Too bad we don’t have an off button on our brain. Or at least an 8 hour pause switch. I encourage you to Journal or really think all of your worries out before you pray and attempt sleep. Wishing you the best of luck at night and in the giveaway!
Kate
I always read Amish books before I go to sleep they always make me relax enough so I can fall asleep! Love reading that is one thin I do every evening ! Thank you for this giveaway!
Reading before bed is something you and I have in common, Sarah! Especially Amish novels, if there is nothing too scary … Thanks for entering the giveaway and good luck!
Kate
I try to read a while after turning off the tv. Sometimes I fall asleep while doing 1or the other. There are nights when I am restless. Then I get up early.
Sounds as if you have your sleep under control, Susan! I turn the TV and computer off one hour before I attempt sleep, and it seems to help. In spite of all my preparation, some nights I am also restless … usually after watching something horrendous on the news. I’ve been on the news fast for a few days. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I have adhd so my brain is always running. So I have to take a sleeping pill 30min. Prior to bed or I will toss and turn and not sleep. It is very difficult if I run out of meds. But mostly it’s okay long as my meds are working!
I’m glad you’ve found a way to tame your runaway thoughts, Teresa! The sleep disorder clinic doc said sleeping pills are okay if the patient has tried all other remedies. Unfortunately, they don’t work for me … do just the opposite. Some of the brightest people I know have ADHD. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
I have a few sleepless nights, I finally figured out that the Lord has me awake for a reason. I just start praying for all the friends and family . After that I speel like a baby
I’m jealous if you can sleep like a baby, Cindy! I like your attitude: Maybe the Lord has you awake for a reason. Thanks for writing and good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Oh how I would love to sleep all night long! I haven’t done that in months. Covers on, covers off lol! At least my husband sleeps while I’m tossing and turning.
To sleep all night without waking is more precious than gold, Janet! Every once in a while I enjoy that long stretch of sleep and am elated! One theory is that I became a light sleeper when we had children … as my husband is a heavy sleeper and can even sleep on airplanes. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
A lot of people I know have this problem, and occasionally I do. It’s usually 4 hours into a good sleep that it happens. I have been spraying lavender water on my pillow a few hours before I go to bed and that has seemed to help a lot! Peace and rest to all tonight!
I will have to look into spraying lavender water on my pillow, Nancy! Several people have mentioned it and I am always open to natural remedies when possible. So many suffer from sleep maladies that I wonder how many are sleep-deprived and exhausted. Probably the majority driving on the highway. Thanks for sharing your tip and for entering the giveaway!
Kate
Avoiding caffeine after 5 pm helps me. Also, praying usually relaxes me enough that it helps me fall asleep.
Hope tonight is more restful!
Thanks, Sharon, I hope your night is restful too. I definitely avoid caffeine, even dark chocolate desserts, after around lunchtime. Well, maybe a little chocolate. Praying usually relaxes me unless I start fretting person and worrying, in which case I wait a bit before turning off the light. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Chomomile tea
I’ve heard of drinking Chomomile tea, Casey, but right before bed? Then, don’t you have to get up in the middle of the night? A dilemma. Thanks for writing with your good suggestion and entering the giveaway!
Kate
I seem like some nights i go to sleep and then wake up around 2::30 and can’t get back to sleep.you would think that i could take a nap 9but i can’t. Hope i can win .thanks for the qiveaway.
I am not a good napper, no matter how tired I am, Barbara! What used to wake me up at 2:30 was a glass of wine, which apparently is very common. So I gave up drinking alcoholic beverages over 20 years ago and don’t miss the 2:30 wake-up call or the booze. Thanks for writing and good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I try to get at least 7.5 hours of sleep a night, but only got a little over 6 hours last night. I always read before going to sleep – it relaxes me and helps to clear my mind of things that happened during the day – and I especially love Amish themed books!
I’m sorry you have a crummy night’s sleep, Kay! Six hours never seems to be enough for me. I also try to get adequate sleep, which for me is eight hours. It doesn’t matter what the time or circumstances I absolutely must read before going to sleep. Nothing scary or weird. I am amazed how many of my mystery/ suspense writer friends can sleep after what they’ve written. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway. Good luck and may you enjoy your sleep quota tonight!
Kate
I do my nightly routine of removing my makeup checking the doors pull off my socks and enjoy climbing in under my cool sheets. I fluff my pillow, get my dogs settled give the hubby a good night kiss and open my kindle! It’s wonderful. Nothing like reading something good snuggled in bed with my husband and dogs. I usually read about 45 minutes say my prayers and sleep. Most of the time I can sleep through the night with no troubles!
What a blessing thanks for a great giveaway!
Sounds as if your sleep routine is a blessing, Toni! Is your Kindle back-lit? I heard recently that my iPad doesn’t induce sleep because of the brightness. Same with my computer. I get off of them an hour before I turn off the light, not an easy feat. Same with Wi-Fi; turn it off. Thanks for sharing your blissful sleep routine! Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
For me, reading and praying in bed are two things that calm me and relax me enough to go to sleep. I do unfortunately toss and turn most nights dreaming and wake up exhausted from it. Beautiful pillow. Would love to win it and a copy of one of your books! Thanks for the chance! God Bless!
Sounds as if you are doing all the right things and falling asleep just fine, Tiffany! But tossing and turning most nights and waking up exhausted is no fun. I’ve been there and know what sleep deprivation feels like. Hope you find a solution and win this giveaway!
Kate
When I can’t sleep I get on the computer, read or watch TV until I can finally fall asleep.
Love your books. Beautiful pillow.
Hi, Juanita, thanks for writing! You must basically be a good sleeper. Wonderful. I’m wishing you extra good luck in this giveaway!
Kate
most nights I fall asleep after reading a couple of chapters in whichever Amish book I am reading. Other nights, I lay awake tossing and turning or picking up a book and reading it. When my husband was working, some mornings he would come home and ask me why I was awake. He worked overnight. Now, he is out of work, and learning how to sleep at night again.
If I really can’t sleep, I sometimes get up and get on my computer.
The pillow is beautiful, would love to win it.
Thanks for the opportunity to try. Love all your books.
Thanks so much for your generous endorsement of my books, Andrea! I’m glad your husband is learning how to sleep at night again. Girlfriends who were nurses and worked the overnight shift have told me how difficult it is to try to go home and sleep at the wrong time. Hope he finds a good job soon. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I have an essential oil diffuser on my night stand and use lavender or a good night blend. They are very relaxing and promote sleep. Love the breathe blend, too, with peppermint and eucalyptus.
I’ve started using peppermint oil to rid our house of spiders, Nyla, but had never heard it induced sleep. I might have to try some of these essential oils. Always looking for natural remedies that work. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
I am a light sleeper so sleep is difficult sometimes.
I can relate, Melanie! I used to be a very light sleeper too, especially when we had young children … and my husband was sleeping like a log. I pray your difficulties lift. Best of luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Absolutely no caffine after 4pm. Also watching TV with the flashing lights stimulates the brain to stay active so I read until I find myself closing my eyes just to refocused so I can read some more! Then it’s usually lights out until morning! Sometimes I drink chamomile tea but then I usually have to get up in the middle of the night so not to often!
Some people seem to be able to tolerate caffeine in the late afternoon, Pamela, but I can’t either. I don’t watch a great deal of TV anyway, but prefer oldies in black-and-white after dinner (my poor husband) and try to calm my mind by skipping most of the news, except the weather report. I don’t drink much before bedtime for your same reason: Don’t want to get up in the middle of the night! thanks for your lovely letter and for entering the giveaway!
Kate
Unfortunately, I have a terrible time falling asleep 🙁
Sorry to hear you have a hard time falling asleep, Michelle! the sleep disorder doctor ask: Do you have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early? My answer to all at that time was Yes. But I am much improved. As for falling asleep, I can’t simply switch off my brain and need one hour before I turn off the light. Never can I fall asleep without reading first. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
I know the feeling Kate. Sometimes I use sleepy time tea. It helps a lot. But I also read till my eyes start to get heavy. When that happens it’s time to close my book turn off my lamp. Beautiful throw pillow. Good luck to all.
Thanks for writing, Kathy! I’ve tried Sleepy Time Tea in the past, but didn’t receive any benefit, unfortunately. Reading until my lids are heavy and I start to yawn seems to be my best approach. I was told that yawning is your body’s attempt to wake itself up, so take that opportunity to turn off the light and go to bed. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I have a love / hate relationship with bedtime…I’m either so so sleepy…I’m out before my head hits the pillow…or I lay awake going over and over things in my head…I’ll lay there for an hour or so….and know it’s going to be one of those nights…so I get up and read, or try a calming drink…or make a list of everything going through my mind…sometimes I’m able to write myself to sleep…and find out what is really bothering me…but most nights I just give up and get out my yarn, or play my favorite games on facebook…or spend the time watching for the sun to come up…while all the time talking to God…no matter how I spend the time…I start the day thanking God for getting me through and giving me another morning…
I make sure the tv and radio off the room is dark and the fan is on low even in the winter. My mother bought me an amazing neck pillow that helps. I suffer with anxiety so I either read a chapter or two or I think of a song from my hymnal and sing real slow. I also wash my sheets in lavender and use lavender baby bath in my shower before bed. Hope it helps. God bless.
I can certainly understand why you have a love-hate relationship with bedtime, Mary! It sounds as if you are doing the right things. Maybe you should start your writing an hour before bed to find out if a problem’s bothering you. When I journal first thing in the morning something often surfaces, including good fodder for my manuscript. I love to watch the sunrise, but not after I’ve been awake all night. You have my sympathy. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate

Wendy, your nighttime routine sounds great! I’m curious about your amazing neck pillow … I’m praying right now that your anxiety lifts and that one day you’ll notice it’s gone. God bless you and good luck in the giveaway!

Most nights I go to sleep with no trouble. But if I have been out late or have something bothering me, then it bus impossible. Then I get up and go back to the living room and read. An hour later I’m ready to try again.
I can relate, Nancy! When I go out late and come home with my mind buzzing or when something’s bothering me, sleep is near impossible. I read every night before I go to bed, no matter how late or where I am; it’s the only way I can fall asleep. Good luck with your sleep and in this giveaway!
Kate
I usually start to pray for my kids, starting with the oldest. I rarely get to #5 before I’m asleep. So I have to remember to start w/ the youngest the next time!
Wonderful, Anne! How delightful that you have five kids and pray for them every night/day. I hope your good sleep lasts a lifetime. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
Kate
Until recently, I was blessed to fall asleep almost immediately but now, I have nights I can’t go to sleep for hours OR I wake up after a few hours sleep and I finally end up in my recliner.. I don’t have an easy solution to correct being ‘sleepless in Kentucky’!
Being able to fall asleep is a blessing, Connie! I’m sorry those blissful nights are behind you and hope you can discover what is disturbing your sleep. I’m sure many women can relate to your problems. Wishing you a good night’s sleep in Kentucky and good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
Most nights I fall asleep fast but there are always nights when I can’t…..start counting my blessings and that sometimes works or go through my prayer list. Thanks always for the opportunity to win!
Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway, Linda! I’m glad you can fall asleep fast most nights. I have a mighty long prayer list, which I tried to address before I turn off the light to keep myself from worrying about the many people who are ill or hurting. Good luck in the giveaway!
Kate
I’ll say extra prayers. Just saying Jesus over and over. Sometimes I’ll count.
I can’t think of a better name to repeat over and over, Lisa! I’ll have to give it a try next time I can’t sleep. Counting doesn’t seem to work for me. Even counting backwards from 100. Thanks for writing and entering the giveaway!
